It looked like scoring points would be Auburn’s strength entering this season. Week One’s 55-28 win at Pittsfield did nothing to change that narrative. Auburn scored two plays into their first possession of the 2017 season on a 49 yard touchdown pass from Destin Chance to Josh Johnson. Chance threw three total touchdowns with Benji Eaker hauling in the remaining two. Auburn running back Cayden Muench found the end zone five times in the win.
Auburn will host Williamsville in Week Two. The Bullets beat Riverton 48-0 in their opener.
