The Springfield High Senators started the 2017-2018 season with a two set sweep over St. Teresa 25-20, 25-22 at Willard Duey gym on Monday evening.
Lauren Frierdich led the way for the Senators, who had to slow down St. Teresa’s DaeLin Switzer.
Springfield opens CS8 play on Tuesday at Normal U-High.
