Neither team had scored a run on the diamond in Peoria through 11 innings played total, but finally Nicole Robinson came through with a clutch, two run single to break it open. Robinson would come in to score on a rundown and that was all the offense Rochester needed. The Rockets beat Nazareth 3-0 in the 3A third place game to wrap up the best season in school history.
Reagan Miles pitched a three hit shutout as a sophomore to keep the Rockets in the game until the offense finally delivered the three runs in the fourth inning.
