Jacob Maton struck out 12 and gave up just two hits to pick up the complete game win as the Glenwood Titans beat Effingham 5-0 in the 3A Chatham sectional semifinal on Wednesday afternoon.
Jake Ryan picked up RBI base hits in the third and fifth inning and Todd Fowler hit a three run home run to blow it open.
Reid Detmers will take the mound for the Titans on Saturday in the 3A Chatham sectional championship against the winner of SHG and Champaign Central.
