QND scratched out a run in the second inning on a ground out and then let Tommy Ray do the rest. The Raiders’ sophomore pitcher threw a complete game shutout to give QND a 1-0 win over Maroa-Forsyth in the 2A Beardstown sectional semifinal on Wednesday afternoon.
QND will play Pleasant Plains on Saturday at 11 a.m. for the 2A Beardstown sectional championship.
