Pleasant Plains sent ten guys to the plate in the second inning, plating seven runs on their way to a 9-1 win over Williamsville in the 2A Beardstown sectional semifinal on Wednesday evening.
TJ Painter pitched a complete game, giving up just a seventh inning solo home run to Talon File in his last at bat as a Bullet.
Pleasant Plains will play QND on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the 2A Beardstown sectional championship.
