Last week, the Pleasant Plains girls track & field unit won a sectional title at the Rushville sectional. A week later, the Pleasant Plains boys followed suit and brought home a sectional championship of its own, as the fellas won the El Paso-Gridley sectional on Wednesday. In addition to the Cardinals relays and individuals headed to state, we’ve also got highlights of other area competitors, who are off to Charleston, including Wyatt McIntyre of Athens, who claimed the 1600 and 3200.
