The Pleasant Plains Cardinals had to wait out a two and a half hour weather relay but when the last race finished up at around 10:30 p.m., the ladies were handed the 1A Rushville sectional team plaque.
Plains will send all four relay teams to state next weekend, along with multiple individual qualifiers after an exceptional night in Rushville.
