Pleasant Plains went from undefeated to a two loss team in the past week, and Dave Greer’s message after a 5-2 win over Auburn on Tuesday was simple. That effort isn’t going to be good enough.
The Cardinals used a four run bottom of the fifth inning including a two run, two out single from TJ Painter to break a 1-1 tie. Painter then came on to record five of the last six outs to help secure the win.
