T.J. Painter pitched a complete game shutout to lead Pleasant Plains to a 3-0 win over Carrollton in the Beardstown Tournament on Friday. Mitch Bergmann and Corgan Greer both tallied RBI’s for the Cardinals, while Cole Greer scored on a passed ball in the first inning. The Cardinals suffered their first loss on Thursday to Riverton, but move to 12-1 on the year.
