Glenwood class of 2019 four star offensive lineman, Will Putnam announced on Twitter Wednesday that at the conclusion of the school year, he and his family will be moving to Tampa, Florida. Putnam will play his last two years of high school football at 7A power, Plant High School. Plant has won four state championships since 2006.
Putnam discusses the reasons for the move, why attending Plant was enticing and gives us a recruiting update. Putnam currently holds 13 Division I offers from Illinois, Iowa, Georgia, LSU, Michigan State, Missouri, Nebraska, Northwestern, Ohio State, Penn State, Pittsburgh, UCLA and Virginia.
Putnam does plan on continuing his wrestling career down south. He made it to the state wrestling tournament as a freshman, but had his season cut short as a sophomore due to a knee injury.
