Illinois Irish teammates Max Muller and Taylor Bruninga were the story coming into the 2A PORTA regional semifinal with their respective teams looking for a spot in the regional championship on Friday, but sophomore Cam Scott stole the show with 31 points to push Illini Bluffs past PORTA 71-58.
Max Muller scored 30 points in his final game as a Bluejay, while Bruninga put up 20 points. The Tigers will play Tremont for the 2A PORTA regional championship on Friday evening.
