Auburn made history last weekend by putting a freshman on the podium and Peyton Hudspeth finishing second place and they added to their historic 2016-2017 season with a team trip to the state tournament to Tuesday.
Auburn defeated Anna-Jonesboro 51-26 in the 1A Litchfield sectional to advance to the state tournament at U.S. Cellular Coliseum on Saturday where they will take on Wilmington at 9 a.m.
