Springfield’s enrollment catapulted them into the Class 4A post season this year, but the program that Brad Scheffler has built on west Washington proved it’s up to the challenge on Friday with a 63-57 win over O’Fallon in a regional championship. Springfield Will play Edwardsville on Monday in Collinsville in a sectional semifinal.
