Back on January 10, MacArthur upset the then No. 1 state ranked Lanphier Lions, handing Lanphier its first loss of the season. On Friday night, Lanphier was having none of that.
Aundrae Williams (34 points), Yaakema Rose (25 points), and Cardell McGee (20 points) combined for 79 of the Lions 96 points in the 96-77 rout of the Generals.
Lanphier shot 31-59 from the floor, which was good for a 53 percent clip.
Armon and Amir Brummett both scored 21 points for MacArthur.
Given the rivalry and the intensity of the matchup, tensions were running high at Lober Nika Gymnasium. There were five technical fouls issued in the first half.
