Southeast overcame a sluggish first quarter and picked up contributions from some unusual places but at the end of the night, they still had a 31 point win, 65-34 over Springfield High, to send them to Saturday’s City Tournament nightcap with a perfect 2-0 record.
Isaiah Walton missed most of the first half with foul trouble but rebounded to lead the team in scoring while making three 3-pointers. Walton has eight 3-pointers for the tournament. Josh Washington led Springfield with nine points.
