Lanphier senior guard, Yaakema Rose scored a game high 25 points, ripped down seven rebounds and tallied five steals to lead Lanphier to a 69-36 win over Springfield High in Thursday’s nightcap at City. 18 of Rose’s 25 points came in the first half.
The Lions shot 50 percent from the floor and held Springfield to 26 percent shooting, while managing to force 17 turnovers. Corrington Jones added 12 points, while Aundrae Williams and James Jones added eight points each.
Lanphier will face SHG on Friday night.
