For two straight seasons, Williamsville hasn’t occupied the role of favorite to start the Sangamo Conference season. After a 49-35 win at home over Auburn on Monday, the Bullets appear primed to beat the odds for the second time in as many tries.
Olivia Felts scored a team high 15, while Mackenzie McCormick added 12 and Emma Walbert contributed 10 in the win. Williamsville has three conference games remaining against PORTA, Maroa-Forsyth and North Mac. Auburn was led by Abbie Jessup’s 15 points.
