About the only thing that wasn’t cancelled on Saturday was the 2016 Joe Bee wrestling Invitational at Springfield High. The Glenwood Titans would take the team title beating Cahokia (second) and Pekin (third). Individually, Glenwood’s heavyweight Will Putnam would win in dominant fashion by pinfall in just 41 seconds and Springfield High’s Jacquez Stewart would win the 126 pound title for the Senators.
