In game two of the Capital City Showcase, MacArthur jumped out to an early lead, dominating its way through two quarters, led by Amir Brummett. Springfield came out inspired in the second half, though and cut the Generals lead to as little as five, before MacArthur pulled away with the 50-44 win.
Amir Brummett scored a game high 18 points. He had to carry the load offensively with his brother, Armon hampered by a bruised thigh.
For Springfield, Trevor Minder led the way with 14 points.
