Yaakema Rose came up with a steal and turned it into a game sealing score in the final minute of Lanphier’s 62-58 semifinal win at the Adam Lopez Country Financial Thanksgiving Tournament on Friday. Rose, who finished with a game high 19 points, five rebounds, four assists and four steals, and the Lions (2-0) will play Champaign Central in Saturday’s final at Lober/Nika Gymnasium.
