Talent hasn’t been the problem at for the Riverton volleyball program in recent seasons, but winning the toughest of games has. That narrative changed this season, which ended on Thursday in a two set loss to perennial power Deer Creek Mackinaw in the 2A Beardstown sectional finals. Riverton won a regional under first year head coach Staci Coady and took the first steps to making the program one of the more dangerous programs in the Sangamo Conference.
