The 3A Mt. Zion sectional saw two teams that many thought would be home at this time of the year. Jacksonville and Taylorville, two squads with a lot of young talent showed poise on the big stage this postseason, exceeding expectations and advancing to a sectional final. On Thursday, it was Taylorville who brought its A game, sweeping Jacksonville in straight sets to move on to the Effingham super sectional on Tuesday.
