Hillsboro tested Williamsville in the early goings on Saturday, rallying back from a 14-0 deficit to make it a 14-12 game early in the second quarter, but the Bullets scored 42 unanswered points to advance to the second round with a 56-12 victory.
Jace Franklin continued his dominance, running for four touchdowns in the win. He entered the game 163 yards shy of the Williamsville all-time rushing record. He did not break that record on Saturday and remains about 20 yards short. Defensively, Cade Beckett had two interceptions, including a 51-yard pick six.
The Bullets will travel to Carlinville in round two next weekend.
