Matt Davis' walk-off double in the bottom of the seventh lifted Champaign Centennial to a 3-2 loss, handing SHG a crushing, season-ending loss in the 3A LLCC sectional semifinal.
A SHG win would have set up a Springfield – SHG rematch for the right to move on to a super sectional.
