Waterloo had a defensive game plan that held Rochester off the board for nearly 60 minutes but Amanda Williams scored two goals in the final 23 minutes and Becca Jostes added another to advance the Rockets to the sectional championship.
Waterloo goalie Bailey Bosler played a spectactular game, keeping Rochester off the scoreboard for the first half and much of the second but Becca Jostes' cross found the head of Williams to break the shutout and then the Rockets netted two more in the final seven minutes.
Rochester advances to the 2A Troy Triad sectional championship, where they will take on the Triad Knights for the title on Friday at 6 p.m.
