Rochester scored three runs in the top of the seventh to defeat Glenwood 4-1. Ali Bortmess, Abby Blatz and Katie Nika all pushed runs across the plate in the inning. Zelinda "Z" Taylor pitched a complete game, giving up just one earned run in the win.
Rochester took a 1-0 lead in the first inning and that lead lasted until the bottom of the sixth, when Nicole Haberkorn blooped a RBI single into right.
The Rochester win and Glenwood loss gives the Titans two conference losses on the year, knocking them out of a first place tie with Lincoln atop the CS8.
Rochester and Glenwood will meet up tomorrow for the back end of the home-and-home.
