Chatham Glenwood had a chance to clinch the Central State Eight outright with a home win on Senior Night, but Lincoln played spoiler and defeated Glenwood 32-29 to force Glenwood in a four way tie for the CS8 crown. Lincoln and Glenwood both struggled to score thanks to long offensive possessions and stingy defense. Aron Hopp lead the Railers with 12 points as Lincoln avenged Glenwood for winning the CS8 crown outright at Lincoln last season. With the loss to Lincoln and Lanphier losing at Southeast the Central State Eight will have four teams (Glenwood, Lanphier, Southeast and Jacksonville) sharing the crown.
