Max Muller scored 26 points to lead PORTA past Tremont 74-73 in an overtime thriller in the nightcap of the 2A Eureka regional semifinals.

PORTA coughed up a lead with under a minute to go in the fourth quarter and Tremont tied it up just before the buzzer, but the Bluejays composed themselves and held off the Turks in the overtime period to set a Sangamo showdown in the regional championship on Friday night.

PORTA will take on Williamsville, who won on Matt Watson buzzer beater over Peoria Christian in the first game of the night. This will be the third straight year that PORTA and Williamsville will meet for a regional crown, with the Bluejays taking the previous two.

PORTA junior Muller's first three pointer of the game pushed him past 1,000 points in his high school career.
