With a clear cut size advantage down low, the Auburn Trojans put a game plan in place to attack the post, mainly with Connor Berola, who recorded a double-double with 20 points and 10 blocks to upset Riverton in the 2A Plains Regional Semifinal.
The Trojans advance to take on No. 1 seeded Pleasant Plains on Friday for the regional crown. The Trojans and Cardinals have met twice this year, once at the County Tournament and the other at Auburn and both games were close down to the final mintues.
