The Springfield Senators set seven school records and a pool record at the Chuck Fruit Aquatic Center on Saturday to run away with the Edwardsville Sectional Title, finishing with a team total of 298 points.
The Senators set school records in the 200 and 400 yard freestyle relay and individually, Gage Hamill set school records in the 100 yard butterfly and 200 yard freestyle. Michael Patton set a school record in the 100 yard breast stroke, Matthew Knox set a school record in the 500 yard freestyle as well as the 100 yard freestyle as part of kicking off the relay.
The Senators also set the pool record in the 200 yard freestyle relay.
