Olivia Kaufmann has never been given the red light on the basketball court. Her Jacksonville High School head coach Jeannette Barlow says she has free range on the court and the Crimsons senior guard has certainly used it.
Kaufmann recently surpassed the 2,000 point mark in her high school career and is closing in on the Jacksonville High School all-time girls scoring record.
We caught up with her, her coach and a few teammates to talk about her scoring ability and what it would mean to break that record with a name like Kaufmann in the city of Jacksonville, where her uncle holds a few scoring records of his own.
