Southeast’s City Business Trip Headed To Title Game After Win Over SHS

Southeast held off a fourth quarter Springfield High charge in a 54-47 win on Friday at City Tournament. The win propels the Spartans into Saturday's 8pm title game with a 2-0 record and a chance to bring home a City crown against Lanphier, the two time defending champion. 

Trevyon Williams scored 17 points and was 11-for-12 at the free throw line. He hit seven of his last eight at the charity stripe to help put the game away after D'Angelo Hughes picked up his fifth foul with 3:30 left to play in the game. Isaiah Walton scored a team high 18 points for Southeast. Springfield High was paced by Isaac Nelson's 19 points.
