The SHG Cyclones led by three heading into the fourth quarter, but couldn't hold on to their upset bid as the Rochester Rockets escaped with a 48-44 road win at Belz Gym on Saturday evening.
Angela Perry scored 18 points and Meagan McNicholas added 11 for the Rockets who had to stop eight three-pointers from the SHG Cyclones, who were led by 12 points from Anna Lowis and ten points from Catie Costa.
The win for the Rockets sets up a showdown of the CS8 unbeaten teams on Tuesday as Springfield High will travel to Rochester.
