The defending two-time champion at the Collinsville Holiday Tournament, needed to overcome a 12 point second quarter deficit against Ft. Zumwalt to make it out of Monday's opening round. Lincoln did exactly that, shooting 11-27 from three point range (41%) in a 48-45 win.
KJ Fry led the way with a game high 17 points on 5-8 shooting from downtown. Garrett Aeilts was 4-11 from deep for 13 points.
Lincoln will play East St. Louis in Tuesday's quarterfinal at 11:30 am.
