Athens' Matt Wendling scored six points in the first half. He scored 21 in the second and that led Athens to a come from behind victory against Auburn in a quarterfinal Monday at the Waverly Holiday Tournament. Auburn led 27-22 at the half.
Drayton Davis scored 14 points for Athens and Auburn was paced by Ben Johnson's 15.
Athens will play in Tuesday's semifinals at 8pm against the winner of West Central and Lutheran.
