Glenwood sent five wrestlers to Saturday's finals at the Joe Bee Invite at Springfield High School and still they fell a half a point short to Cahokia in the final team standings. Cahokia finished with 150.5 points and the Titans ended with exactly 150.
Glenwood did have a pair of wrestlers take individual titles. Freshman Will Putnam won the heavyweight class by fall at 1:58 of the first round and Hunter Crumly used a four point flurry in the final six seconds of his match to earn a 15-11 decision at 195 pounds.
Springfield's Terrior Taborn needed just 33 seconds to pin Lanphier's Brayan Reyes to win the 220 pound title. Springfield High finished sixth as a team. Lanphier came in 15th.
