After 23 years as the head coach of the Glenwood Titans football team, Dan Rourke tendered his resignation on Friday. Rourke's impending retirement as Glenwood athletic director was common knowledge, but whether or not he would stay on as football coach was unknown until Friday.

Rourke posted a 159-88 record (.644) over those 23 years. He led the Titans to a 4A state championship in 1998 and in 2010 the Titans finished as the state runner-up in Class 5A.
