The Athens Warriors suffered a big blow in the opening minutes as starting point guard Nick Hanner rolled his ankle and they never could quite recover without one of their leaders.
Pleasant Plains pulled away for a 62-43 win over Athens in the Edinburg Turkey Tournament to ulitmately win the round robin tourney, thanks to 15 points from Austin Finley and 12 each from Nik Clemens and Isaac Collins.
