Lanphier Bounces Back To Take 3rd Place In Inaugural Adam Lopez Tourney

Xavier Bishop, Cardell McGee and Yaakema Rose combined for 67 of Lanphier's 76 points as the Lions beat East. St. Louis in the third place game at the Adam Lopez Country Financial Thanksgiving Tournament on Saturday. 

Bishop led all scorers with 29 points and McGee and Rose poured in 20 and 18 respectively. Bishop, who led the tournament in points (86), three pointers made (13) and free throws made (19) was named co-MVP of the tournament with Peoria Manual's Da'Monte Williams. Rose was also named to the all tournament team for Lanphier. 

Manual beat St. Louis CBC in Saturday's chamionship game.
