Pleasant Plains opened their season on Tuesday night in the Edinburg Turkey Tournament with a tough Madison team from down south.
The Cardinals went back and forth with the lead as the Trojans hit 8/13 from three in the first half. Austin Finley led Plains with 21 points but it was Madison who escaped with a 61-58 victory in the opener.
