The Jacksonville Crimsons started out the 2014-2015 season with some surprising upsets in the Central State Eight, including wins over Lincoln and Lanphier, but the injury bug and inexperience caught up with them and didn't allow them to compete for a CS8 crown at the end of the year.
In Coach Sean Taylor's second year at the helm, the Crimsons are expecting a lot more with plenty of returning pieces, as well as the additon of a 6'7" transfer from Piasa Southwestern by the name of Tyler Rose.
Rose joins guys like Brady Hays, Brandon McCombs, James White, Steven Albers, Joe Brannan and a couple more to take on the tough CS8 schedule this year with hopes of winning the conference and moving on to bigger things in the postseason.
