North Mac's perfect 10-0 record took it's first, and last hit on Saturday in a 55-20 loss to Tolono Unity in a 3A second round matchup. The Panthers, who went from 3-6 a season ago to outright Sangamo champs, end the season with a 10-1 record, their best in school history.
North Mac turned turned the ball over three times in the first half and all three turnovers became Unity scores. The Rockets took a 42-7 lead to the half. North Mac's opening drive of the second half stalled at the Unity 18 yard line and mid way through the third, another Rocket score set a running clock in place.
