The Springfield High Senators were determined to make a statement on Wednesday night and they did that against Mahomet-Seymour in the 2A Urbana sectional semifinal game.
Logan Willard scored five goals, Nate Cheung added one and the Senators beat the Bulldogs 6-0 to advance to the sectional championship game on Saturday at 11 a.m. against Rochester in Urbana.
