The SHG offensive line won the battle up front and senior Cyclone Sam Sergent took full advantage, rushing for 311 yards on 35 carries while accounting for four of SHG's eight touchdowns in a 53-34 win over Rochester. The Cyclones completed another perfect 9-0 season while claiming another Central State 8 crown with the win.
Albert Okwuegbunam had 152 yards receiving and three touchdowns, all of which came in the first half. Sam Bonansinga caught the other of Tim Brenneisen's four touchdown passes. The junior quarterback had 229 yards in the air in the win.
Dan Zeigler and Kenny Hedges did their best to keep up with the SHG scoring barrage. Zeigler threw for 338 yards and two scores and Hedges added 150 yards and a score on the ground.
