The Southeast Spartans are taking the season one game at a time, but they know the task at hand. They must win two of their final three to get to five wins and become eligible for the playoffs.
The Spartans host Eisenhower this Friday evening, before traveling to Sacred Heart-Griffin and Decatur MacArthur to end the regular season.
Team captain Eddie Gailes said, "Our backs are against the wall and we're going to fight."
A win against the 4-2 Panthers this week would go a long way towards their goal of making Southeast history as one of two teams to make the playoffs in back to back years.
