New Berlin blocked a potential game tying field goal with under a minute left to defeat Williamsville 31-28 and claim the Silver Bucket. It is the Pretzels first win over the Bullets since 2008.
The victory moves New Berlin to 4-1 on the year and eliminates the bitter taste that existed after Williamsville came back late in the fourth quarter to break the Pretzels hearts in the second round of the playoffs last season.
New Berlin senior quarterback, Cam Cummings threw for 250 yards, rushed for 137 more and accounted for all four New Berlin touchdowns.
Williamsville quarterback Vince Vignali and running back Jace Franklin combined for 324 rushing yards.
