SHG's Sandy Hamilton and Williamsville's Stacey Carlson know each other well. Hamilton coached Carlson in club ball years ago and the two started a club team in Springfield when both arrived in the area, so it should be no surprise that the two are head coaches for two of the best volleyball teams in the area.
Monday's outcome may have been a bit more surprising. Williamsville beat SHG, potentially the top team in the Central State 8, in three sets, 25-11, 20-25, 25-20. Delaney Edwards had a team high 11 kills and Abbey Galusha added nine for the Bullets. Maggie Sorenson's 30 digs were far and away a game high. The Bullets improved to 9-1 on the season with the win.
SHG falls to 8-4. Annie Urbance had a team high 11 kills and Emma Hopkins and Megan Lewis both added five.
