Springfield High fought off two game points on Tuesday against Rochester in a three-set CS8 opening win against the Rockets. Carrie Rolf had nine kills and Kari Wilhelm added seven in the 25-23, 23-25, 26-24 win.
Camryn Sapetti led Rochester with eight kills and Angela Perry's seven blocks was a game high.
