The Titans took back their cup. Glenwood fought off a tough test from Springfield and Rochester to win their 2nd CS8 Brahler Cup in three years. GHS also receives $1000 for their athletic department.
Glenwood was able to win the title thanks to a stellar showing in a couple of sports and one very important conference title. The Titans won CS8 championships in girls cross country, boys basketball, wrestling, baseball, softball, boys tennis, and a co-championship in girls soccer. The upset of Springfield in the CS8 boys tennis tournament proved to be the difference as the Titans held off the Senators by just 4.3 points.
